Women can no
longer be considered the weaker sex, especially in the world of commerce. In
fact, in the past years, we have seen many success stories of women making it
big in the field of e-commerce. This shows, that when it comes down to a ‘do or
die’ situation, women step up and excel.
Women have the
determination and grit required to make a mark in the world of masculine power.
With the power of the internet by their side, we have seen many feminine
business success stories make the front page of newspapers. These success
stories remind us that we should not ever undermine the strength of a woman.
According to
some of these successful women, all they had when they started off was a
business idea. Many of these women had to start an online business to support
their family. One such woman, a former ‘stay-at-home’ parent, started a
business when her husband lost his job. She realised that with small savings as
the only anchor to hold on to, stabilising financial conditions was impossible.

Here’s how she rose to the challenge:
She first
developed on her product idea. She knew she had to develop a product that would
be useful not only to shops and big businesses but also the common people. Once
her product was developed, she registered the business and opened a separate
bank account. She then spent time strategising, contacting manufacturers and
vendors, arranging for logistics and creating a branding strategy. After months
of hard work, she succeeded in popularising her product on the internet and
reaching out to the masses. Whatever money she had invested in making the
business stand was earned back.
However, this
online business would not stand a chance if she hadn’t arranged for a good distribution fulfilment service. She
had to make sure that her product was reaching her customers at the right time
and undamaged.
Her business has
now spread across the country and her clientele has increased massively. A few
decades back, the “man’s world” would never have imagined a ‘stay-at-home mum’
to start a business and succeed in it. The ‘masculine world’ would never have
imagined how a woman could help her husband recover from unemployment and
stabilise the financial conditions of her household. This success story stands
as evidence of the fact that women should never be thought of as anything less
than a man; they too can be achievers and change the face of the business
world.
